Scholarships for APA students: Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS)
My name is Kara Fukumoto and I currently serve as the Outreach Coordinator for the Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) program in the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF). If you are not familiar with GMS, the program is funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It was established in 1999 to provide outstanding low income African American, American Indian/Alaska Natives, Asian Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline area of interest. We offer 1,000 scholarships a year that cover students' unmet need at any U.S. accredited college or university of their choice. You can visit our website for further information at: www.gmsp.org
